💘 You’ve Been Visited by the Valentine’s Day Man 💘
Someone who loves you left this candle to share a little light and remind you just how deeply and wonderfully you are held.
The Legend of the Valentine’s Day Man ❤️
There’s a slightly mischievous tradition in our family that dates back to the 1950s.
On Valentine’s Day night, the Valentine’s Day Man would arrive.
He’d knock on the door and dash away, leaving candy and small treasures behind. While the children raced to one door, he’d quietly sneak to another. No one ever caught him. Not once.
Like Santa… but faster.
Our grandparents began the tradition.
Our parents carried it on.
We’ve done it for our children.
And now, we’re sharing it with you.

A New Twist on an Old Tradition!

This year, we wondered…
What if the Valentine’s Day Man left light instead of candy? 🕯️ A candle. 🌟 A warm glow on a doorstep. 🥰 A simple surprise that lingers long after the door closes. Kitchen Sink Candle Company loved our tale and have created special Valentine’s Day Man labels to add to their Valentine’s candles (or any candle you choose), making it easy to pass along a little mystery and warmth. How You Can Be the Valentine’s Day Man!
Anyone can be the Valentine’s Day Man.❤️ A Celebration of Light To celebrate the tradition, we’ll be lighting a giant heart made of candles on Orchard Hill at Bolton Spring Farm on Valentine’s Day night, because love (and a little mystery) should be shared big. We hope you’ll join us in keeping the legend alive.💞 |
