Felting Demonstration
11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Designs by Lyn Expert needle felting artist, Lyn Slade, specializes in two dimensional wall art. Lyn will demonstrate the basic skills of needle felting, showing you how delightfully simple, fun and forgiving needle felting can be. 
Ceramic Ornaments Demonstration
1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. Baer Ceramics & Pottery in the Patch Ceramic artists, Jess Baer and Bea, will show you each step from raw clay to a glazes ceramic ornament on your Christmas tree. This demonstration will include pre-created examples of each step (raw clay, greenware, bisque, and glaze) with explanations of technique as well as tips and tricks. |
Holiday Scented Sugar Scrub Demonstration
12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. Jurassic Soap Co Artisanal soap maker, Claudia Uppendahl will demonstrate how to make a holiday scented sugar scrub. She will discuss the benefits of the oils used and participants can bring home a sample of the unfinished product. 
Mandalas Painting Demonstration
2:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. River Rock Dots Artist Katie Brewer-Smith will show visitors the process of how she makes her mandala ornaments. You will get a first-hand look into her workshop. Katie will show you how she chooses her colors, what tools she uses, and how she creates a dot design. You will learn her thought process behind her work and get a feel for how meditative the art of mandala making is. |
